I ran into a problem today where a load balancer is causing my wget command to fail. To bypass this, I knew I could access the file via the hosts IP address, the problem is that host is shared. Here’s the fix: wget –header ‘Host:myhost.com’ http://126.96.36.199/somefile.pdf ahhhh, back to coding!
