For sometime, I’ve wanted a program that would save my (classic) desktop applications to a specific space, so I didn’t have to adjust all the windows every time I startup my computer. I’m yet to find a program to do that well, but in Expi Desktop Manager (which is freeware) I may have found a program that is even better. What Expi allows you to do, is assign zones to areas of you monitor, and assign hotkeys to quickly “snap” your windows in to position.
The program takes only a few minutes to setup, and really makes getting your workspace in order a snap (you’re welcome for the pun). The interface while being pretty easy to use, is not perfect, but it has quickly become one of my favorite “freeware” programs. I’d score it an 85/100. Give it a shot… it’s free! The best part? No adware or any of that garbage with this download. If I knew the author, I’d by him/her a drink, but for now hopefully this review will do!
